🧠 Are You Already Modern?

The word modern is often seen as a symbol of an advanced civilization: a healthy lifestyle, a clean way of living, simplicity and ease, and a life based on knowledge and technology. According to the Indonesian Dictionary (KBBI), modern means new, up‑to‑date, or everything that acts and behaves in accordance with the demands of the times. It refers to renewal across various aspects of life, oriented toward the present and the future (How Cool Are You, Really? May 15, 2026).

Today modern understanding is camouflaged with the following:

Modern as Civilization

Modernity is frequently associated with big cities, tall buildings, fast transportation, and digital technology. Yet, is modern civilization only about physical structures and infrastructure? Or does it also encompass the values that shape how we live together?

Modern as Lifestyle

A modern life is often linked to healthy eating, environmental cleanliness, and easy access to information. To be modern means choosing ways of living that are more efficient, more health‑conscious, and more environmentally friendly.

Modern as Knowledge and Technology

Modernity cannot be separated from science and technology. The internet, artificial intelligence, and renewable energy are clear examples of how modernity shapes the present while paving the way for the future.

This shows awarness whether our existence is close to what is called modern humans (Homo Sapiens) or whether we are still bound or trapped by the framework and relationship with "Ape-Men" (Homo Erectio). Homo Erectio: a human-like ape that has developed an advanced erection, walks upright, uses rational calculations, and considers reason, logic, thought, and rational considerations. Already able to use various levels of language, from low, middle and high language. When compared or in everyday interactions, no one notices the difference, and no one is aware of it. The word erectus: erection, rectum. Rectum: The word rectum comes from the Latin rectus, meaning "straight." The term is short for intestinum rectum, which literally means "straight intestine." The rectum is the final section of the large intestine (after the sigmoid colon) and serves as a temporary storage area for feces before they are expelled from the body through the anus. This is where we need Self-Awareness, Social Relationships, Moral Reflection, and Pride. This is where we need Self-Awareness, Social Relationships, Moral Reflection, and Pride. fakhūr (فخور) is an intensive adjective (mubālaghah) meaning “one who is too boastful or arrogant.” This word is closely related to excessive arrogance (kibr, bathar, 'ajab), which is often expressed through showing off (flexing). Reflection: The related root word faqr (فقر) means poverty or need, and literally refers to the “backbone” (faqīr). Anjuk Ladang: “Sri Maharaja and Sri Jaya Amerta Sima”. Can be interpreted as follows: Seek Maharaja and Seek Sriwijaya Sima!”. (Have You Ever Realized That People And Humans Are Different? April 15, 2026); (Can We Be Arrogant? Primates are a group or order of intelligent mammals that share physical characteristics such as relatively large brains, grasping hands, and forward-facing eyes. This group includes humans, apes, monkeys, and prosimians such as lemurs. Origin of the Word The term "primate" comes from the Latin word primates, meaning "first, best, or noble." Key Characteristics of Primates Primates are distinguished from other mammals by the following unique combination of characteristics:

  • High Intelligence: They have a large brain size compared to their body size.
  • Good Vision: Their eyes face forward, enabling stereoscopic vision (excellent depth perception) and color vision.
  • Flexible Limbs: They have strong grasping abilities with their fingers and toes. Primate thumbs are usually opposable to the other fingers for holding objects.
  • Social Behavior: They have complex social structures and are capable of communication.
Classification & Examples
According to biology, primates are divided into several groups:
  • Haplorhini (Dry-Nosed Primates):
    • Simian: Includes monkeys and great apes (gorillas, orangutans, chimpanzees).
    • Tarsius: Large-eyed, nocturnal animals.
  • Strepsirrhini (Wet-Nosed Primates):
    • Lemurs: Found mostly in Madagascar.
    • Lorises and Galagos: Small, large-eyed animals.
Besides biology, the word Primate (spelled in English as "Meriam Webster Com Dictionary": https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/primate) also has the meaning of a bishop who leads an ecclesiastical region or province (an archbishop).

To find out the origin of "Ape-Men" (Homo Erectio) and the existence of "Modern Humans" (Homo Sapiens) needs to be considered through 1. The region with the most discoveries of ancient human fossils (especially the Homo erectus species) in the world is Java Island, Indonesia, especially around the Bengawan Solo River valley. This region contains around 50% of all Homo erectus fossil discoveries worldwide; 2. The oldest known painting in the world is a 67,800-year-old narrative rock painting found in Leang Metanduno, Muna Island, Southeast Sulawesi. Another discovery was also recorded in Leang Karampuang, South Sulawesi, which is around 51,200 years old. which through the Homo floresiensis route (nicknamed the "Hobbit" man) is an extinct species of ancient dwarf-bodied human who once inhabited Flores Island, Indonesia. They are estimated to have lived between 100,000 and 50,000 years ago; 3. Dinosaur fossils are very rarely found in Indonesia. Indonesia does not even have land dinosaur fossils.

No fossils of ancient humans (such as Homo erectus) have been found in Lampung. However, traces of prehistoric civilizations can be found in the following locations:

  • Pugung Raharjo Archaeological Park: Located in Sekampung Udik District, East Lampung (about 50 km from Bandar Lampung). Discovered in 1957, this site contains complete remains from the megalithic era (such as terraced pyramids and statues), the classical Hindu-Buddhist era, and the Islamic era.
  • Batu Bedil Site: Located in Tanggamus Regency, this site displays traces of megalithic civilization in the form of large menhirs and stone inscriptions dating from the 7th to 10th centuries AD.

Oldest Homo Sapiens Fossils Found in South Sumatra. The island of Sumatra has a long history of ancient human discoveries. Fossil evidence and skeletons of prehistoric Homo sapiens (modern humans) have been found South Sumatra:

  • Tiger Cave (South Sumatra): At this site, prehistoric human remains were found dating from 1,000 to 1,000 years ago. This discovery is significant because it records traces of life and various ancient diseases such as malaria and thalassemia.
Analysis of the Tiger Cave Man, South Sumatra: Surprising results emerged from the analysis of prehistoric human skeletal remains from the Tiger Cave site in South Sumatra. The skeleton revealed signs of previously unidentified diseases: malaria and thalassemia. Thalassemia is an inherited genetic blood disease that causes the body to be unable to produce enough "hemoglobin", a crucial protein in red blood cells that carries oxygen. This condition causes anemia, or a lack of blood, in sufferers. Using a bioarchaeological approach, researchers are attempting to uncover the history of disease in past populations through traces recorded in bones, teeth, and biomolecular elements. Supporting this, Melandri Vlok explained the scientific context and findings. He explained that thalassemia is a genetic disorder of the alpha/beta "hemoglobin chain". "This can cause severe anemia, causing bones to adapt through marrow expansion or hyperplasia, resulting in thickened but porous bones, as well as distinctive changes in the facial and jaw bones," he explained. The discovery, which he described as both exciting and rare, came from the Metal Period. It was a 17–18-year-old female whose bones were extremely fragile and required careful cleaning in the laboratory. "In this human skeleton, X-ray images show characteristic thickening and porosity, as well as bone lesions on the ribs, which are very large enough to be diagnostic of thalassemia," he added.

"During the cleaning process, the team discovered a fetus approximately 38 weeks old in a pre-labor position that also showed strong signs of thalassemia in the ribs and long bones. This is the first time we have direct evidence of thalassemia inheritance from mother to child in the archaeological record," he said.

Note This adaptation process altered the course of human history and biology through the following mechanisms:
  1. Sickle Cell Mutation (Sickle Cell Trait)
  2. Thalassemia and G6PD Deficiency
  3. Innate Immunity (Duffy Gene)

Megalithic Statue of the Bitter Tongue in South Sumatra

In South Sumatra, there is a legend about the bitter tongue and the existence of the princess cave. There is also a museum there called the bitter tongue. The museum and the princess cave are located near the tiger cave, where many megalithic relics have been found. Locals believe this legend is closely related to the existence of these megalithic stones.

The cave paintings of tigers in South Sumatra contain a key connection to those on the Tanjung Raya inscription. The interpretation of the image is as follows:

A. The Tanjung Raya I
A flat, oval stone slab (~ 237 cm long, ~ 180 cm wide, ~ 45 cm thick) with eight lines of inscriptions. The surface of the stone is heavily worn, but it contains Old Javanese script from the 10th century and a carved image of a vessel with curved edges and a leaf (as a key to the similarity in the geometric interpretation and the sites' geographical proximity). This depicts the living conditions of the people at that time, which is thought to be the remains of megalithic inscriptions such as the Hujung Langit site and the Batu Bedil site.

B, Tanjung Raya II
Also known as the Batu Pahat inscription in West Lampung features a carving of a human figure and the inscription "Batu Pahat.". There are carvings or scratches in the shape of "A Knife". a literary vision of a poet depicting "A Human Figure" that they have been waiting for, monumentalized by inscriptions depicting The Journey of a holy person or a great king, such as: the Kedukan Bukit inscription, the Batu Raja inscription, and the Bungkuk inscription, which are strengthened by the inscription on Anjuk Ladang. The image of a knife shows a dualistic human figure symbol 1. A symbol of power and strength 2. A symbol of purification depicted or narrated through the slaughter of animals or the slaughter of sacrificial animals.
About love, making love, and romance a word often used by rhymer and be witch about chastity and purity which socially and people generally consider to be an animal-like, wild, forbidden, deviant, and taboo activity to talk about. The stone, excavated in 1574 on the Tiber Island, Rome, bears the inscription "Semoni Sango Deo Sacrum Sex". Inscriptions relate to oaths, loyalty, and trust (The Secret Backbone of Man? April 24, 2026) and (You Are Kidding Baby? April 30, 2026).

From Latin ōs sacrum (“holy bone"), translation of Ancient Greek ἱερόν (hieron) ὀστέον (hieron osteon). Called so either because supposedly sacrum was the part of an animal offered in sacrifice or because of the belief that the soul of the man resides there https://www.yourdictionary.com/sacrum.

🌍 Modern Across Languages

1. Arabic: حديث (hadith)

The word hadith comes from the root حدث – يحدث – حدوثا (hadatsa – yahdutsu – hudutsan), which carries several meanings:

  • Al‑Jadid (الجديد) → something new, the opposite of old (al‑qadim).
  • Al‑Khabar (الخبر) → news, report, or information.
  • At‑Tahdits (التحديث) → conversation or discourse

In Islamic studies, related terms include sunnah (traditions of the Prophet), khabar (report), and atsar (narrations from companions). Interestingly, Al‑Hadid (الحديد) means “iron,” also the name of Surah 57 in the Qur’an, symbolizing strength, resilience, and utility. Iron is essential for human life, forming "hemoglobin" and enabling energy and vitality. Our bodies must also be modernized, which were previously "Ape-Men" (Homo Erectio), making our bodies into "modern humans" (Homo Sapiens) as a complete human consciousness. Thus, in Arabic thought, modernity is tied to newness, communication, and foundational strength the ownership of the universe (Quantum Realm, Microcosmic Realm, Macrocosmic Realm).

2. Greek: σύγχρονος (sýnchronos)

The word sýnchronos means “occurring at the same time.” It combines syn (together) and chronos (time). Philosophically, modernity here implies synchronization — living in harmony with the times, aligning body and soul, words and actions, with the rhythm of the universe (real and fitrah synchronization with the ownership of the universe: Quantum Realm, Microcosmic Realm, Macrocosmic Realm) (Is Harmony Really That Simple? March 03, 2026); (Why Everyone Has Dreams? April 02, 2026); (Can the Gimbal Stabilizer Geometry Design Be Realized with AI Microsoft Copilot? April 21, 2026) (Why Do We Like to Dramatize Life? April 12, 2026); (Why Is It Called Trauma As The Secret of Human Life and Death? May 08, 2026); and (Are You Happy As The Secret of Worship and Observance? May 09, 2026);

3. Latin: modernus

The Latin modernus directly gave rise to the English word modern. It emphasizes orientation toward the present and the future, renewal, and adaptation to contemporary demands.

✨ Reflection

Across languages, modern reveals layered meanings:

  • Arabic (حديث) → newness, news, discourse, and strength.
  • Greek (σύγχρονος) → synchronization with time and existence.
  • Latin (modernus) → renewal and present‑future orientation.

Together, they show that modernity is not just about technology or lifestyle, but about living in sync with the times, grounded in strength, and oriented toward the future.

Reflection

So, are you already modern?
Modernity is not merely about following the latest trends, but about adapting to the demands of the times without losing one’s identity. To be modern is to live healthily, cleanly, simply, and knowledge‑based — while still preserving human values. Make ourselves into modern humans (Homo Sapiens)

This calendar system must be carefully considered, because the narrative system, inheritance system, narrator system, documentation system, and recording system often mix visions and actual events, or the conditions for the mixing of visions and actual events. For example, the Vision uses the Kerta-Ilang-Sirna calendar, but does not use Bhumi, resulting in the number 400 Saka, but the story is sometimes exchanged to 1400 Saka. Thus, sometimes the calculation of history and the storyline are not synchronized and fragmented [Can AI Assistant Copilot and Gemini Collaborate to Explore and Trace Vision Ancient Human As a Secret of Name Rodhi Ho-Mi-To 7 June 2026]
