๐Ÿ’ A Meeting of Experts and the Hero of the Broken Road (Satire Story)

In a small village, important figures gathered for an emergency meeting. The topic: why the village road is so badly damaged.

The Village Head said with authority: “A damaged road is a sign of progress. If the road is smooth, people will pass too quickly, and our village will become a city. We want to remain a village, so it's peaceful.”

The Treasurer chimed in: “That's right! Besides, if the road is damaged, car tires wear out quickly. That means the economy is turning: repair shops are thriving, tire repairmen are prosperous. Isn't that sustainable development?”

The Teacher added: “I'm happy about the damaged road. Students will be late to class, and I can have an excuse not to have time to write exam questions. A win-win solution.”

The humblest farmer finally spoke up: “Then let's damage all the roads at once. Let our village become an international research center: The Art of the Broken Road.”

Everyone applauded and humming, singing, and dancing

Suddenly, in the middle of the village meeting, the contractor appeared with a big smile.

He said:

“Don't worry, ladies and gentlemen. That damaged road wasn't a coincidence. It's my work. If the road were smooth, who would pay for the repair project every year? I need repeat orders.”

Everyone fell silent.

The village head immediately applauded: “Amazing! You're not just a contractor, you're an artist. The damaged road is an abstract painting on asphalt.”

The teacher added: “This makes me want to create a new subject: The Aesthetics of Potholes. Students can learn geometry from the shapes of the potholes.”

The treasurer smiled with satisfaction: “With potholes, we can claim emergency funds. This means funds are disbursed more quickly. Bureaucratic efficiency!”

The contractor was proud. He returned home with a new title: “Hero of Damaged Roads.”

And the villagers read this story full of love and pride in what they had done and cheered to welcome them as heroes and commemorate them as great heroes.
